Primary
This class gently introduces young dancers to the basics of classical ballet through simple exercises and guided movement. The focus is on developing coordination, musical awareness, and early ballet skills in a calm and supportive setting.
Over the term, children begin to build good posture, balance, and confidence as they take their first steps in ballet.
CLASS 1 (5-6yrs) – Monday | 3:30 – 4:15PM
1 Class – $110 per term

Grade 1
Grade 1 Ballet builds on the foundations of early ballet training, introducing more structure while maintaining a fun and encouraging environment. Dancers begin to develop a clearer understanding of basic technique, posture, and coordination through simple barre and centre work.
At this stage, students are guided to improve their balance, musicality, and confidence, while exploring expressive movement and storytelling through dance. The class supports both technical development and a love of ballet, helping young dancers grow in focus and discipline.

1 Class – $150 per term

Grade 2
This class builds on the foundations learned in earlier ballet, helping dancers grow in strength, coordination, and confidence. Through simple exercises and gentle choreography, students continue to develop good posture, control, and musicality as they become more comfortable with ballet technique.
Alongside this, dancers begin to move with more ease and expression, preparing them for the next stage of their ballet training.
CLASS 1 (7-8yrs) – Monday | 5:00 – 5:45PM
1 Class – $150 per term

Grade 3
At this level, dancers begin to move with more strength, control, and confidence as their ballet skills develop. Classes include more detailed exercises that support coordination, balance, and a clearer understanding of ballet technique.
Dancers also begin to explore musical phrasing and expressive movement, supporting both their technical growth and enjoyment of dancing as they progress.
CLASS 1 (7-8yrs) – Monday | 5:45 – 6.30PM
CLASS 2 – Optional, booked with Ballet Nelson *not currently scheduled
